OUR STORY

  • When founder Angie Evangelista was receiving treatment for her Breast Cancer, she bought an at-home candle making kit to use during her recovery.  She found it was cathartic to make something with her hands.  She started experimenting with materials, scents, and the process. She was soon making them as gifts for family and friends who helped get her through her cancer. 

    Not only did she find her candles great to express her gratitude, but they became symbolic of hope. Every time she lit a candle, it was a metaphor for the hope she needed to get through Cancer. Today Angie and her husband, Leo, share a unified vision in spreading hope through their products with the world. They are pursuing the American Dream with hard work and passion and growing a small business into a lifestyle.  Watch the interview with ABC's WJCL News!
