Our Story

Bluffton Candles was born out of a season that tested our family’s faith in ways we never imagined. During my breast cancer treatments, I found myself drawn to candles—not just because I loved their light and warmth, but because creating them became a lifeline. I learned to make candles that were environmentally friendly and safe for our family, and in those quiet moments, candle-making became a refuge where I could pray, reflect, and find peace.

It wasn’t just me who faced those dark days. My husband, Leo, and our boys, Marco and Joshua, were right there with me—walking through the storm, holding onto hope, and leaning into God’s strength. Together, we discovered that even when the world feels heavy, God’s light never fades.

Each candle I poured became more than wax and fragrance—it became a symbol of the hope, love, and faith that carried us through. What began as simple gifts for family and friends turned into a calling much bigger than we could have imagined. God was shaping a purpose far beyond what Leo and I could see at the time.

Today, Bluffton Candles is more than a small business to us—it’s our family’s way of honoring God’s faithfulness and sharing His light with the world. Every candle carries a prayer, a reminder that even in the darkest moments, hope shines bright.

We are humbled and deeply grateful for the people God has placed in our lives—our community, our friends, and family—who have carried us through and continue to support us. We trust God every step of the way and remain committed to spreading hope, love, and faith—one candle at a time.
